Who we are
Jolly Good Productions provides entertainment and event services. If you contact us or make a booking, Jolly Good Productions is responsible for the personal information we use in connection with your enquiry or booking.
For privacy or data protection enquiries, please email ronwoodtd@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Depending on how you contact us and the service you require, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, event date, venue or location, the entertainment you are interested in and any other information you choose to give us about your event.
If you make a booking, we may also keep information needed to organise the booking, communicate with you, provide the agreed service and maintain appropriate business and financial records.
How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, check availability, prepare quotations, arrange and deliver bookings, contact customers about their events, keep appropriate business records and deal with any questions arising from a booking.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use enquiry or booking details for unrelated marketing.
Our lawful basis
We normally use your information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract when you make a booking. We may also retain information where necessary to meet legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements, or where we have a legitimate business reason to keep appropriate records.
Google Forms and Google Sheets
Our online enquiry form is provided using Google Forms. Information submitted through the form is recorded in Google Sheets and used by us to manage enquiries and bookings. This means information submitted through the form is processed using Google services as well as by Jolly Good Productions.
Who we share information with
We do not routinely share customer information with other organisations for their own marketing. We may use trusted service providers where necessary to operate the business or provide online services, and we may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it remains useful for dealing with the enquiry and maintaining reasonable business records. Information relating to confirmed bookings and financial transactions may be kept for longer where this is necessary for accounting, tax, legal or record-keeping purposes. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or securely disposed of when appropriate.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights over your personal information, including the right to ask for a copy of it, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask for information to be deleted or its use restricted, and to object to certain uses of your information.
To exercise a data protection right, please contact us at ronwoodtd@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal information has been handled.
